The CCSA Kid's Art program is designed to offer students ages 5 and up a structured approach to the basic and technical aspects of art design. The program is a carefully planned Arts curriculum that promotes intellectual, aesthetic and emotional growth. The program allows students to accomplish a feeling of satisfaction in their artwork by encouraging individual creativity and original products. CCSA's Visual Arts program encourages an individual approach to style while using the guidelines set by the teacher.

The main emphasis of the class focuses on basic sketching in pencil, pastels and acrylic painting. There is also an emphasis on Art History and particular styles of famous artists.

Included in the program are sculpture lessons in clay and other three dimensional forms.

The annual spring Art Show held at CCSA affords students the opportunity to show their work in a gallery setting.
