The CCSA DANCE TEAMS
are for the serious dance student who wants to travel, attend workshops and conventions and have more opportunities to perform than the traditional dance calendar provides. The CCSA DANCE TEAMS have three levels for students ages Kindergarten – High School. Placement auditions are held every spring for the upcoming dance season.

At CCSA we strive to inspire our young ladies to become positive role models among their peers, be a good representation of our school, instill the importance of teamwork, and nurture a deeper appreciation for the Arts.

The Performance and Travel Repertoire include:

• Performance with the National Tap Team in Washington D.C. in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and Philadelphia, P.A. in the Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade
• North Carolina Seafood Festival
• Festival of Trees
• Morehead City Christmas Parade
• Havelock Chili Festival
• Perform for the Relay for Life at The Civic Center and WCHS
• Field trips to Raleigh, N.C. to see the Carolina Ballet perform The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Firebird
• Annual Showstopper's Dance Convention in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
• Field trips to New York City:
  • July 2008: attend the Rockette Experience Dance Intensive with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall
  • See the Little Mermaid on Broadway
  • December 2008: see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall featuring the Rockettes
  • See the New York City Ballet perform Balanchine's Nutcracker
  • See Wicked on Broadway
  • Ice Skate at Rockefeller Center
• Annual end of the year field trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg
