The CCSA Dance Teams are non-competitive dance teams focused on educational performance and opportunities for its members. The Junior Dance Team, The Glitter Girls, is comprised of 3rd through 5th graders. The Jewels Dance Team is comprised of middle and high schools students. At CCSA we strive to inspire our young ladies to become positive role models among their peers, be a good representation of our school, instill the importance of team work, and nurture a deeper appreciation of the Arts. The performance & travel repertoire:
- Performance with the National Tap Team in Washington, D.C. in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and Philadelphia, PA in the Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade
- North Carolina Seafood Festival and Festival of Trees
- Morehead City Christmas Parade
- Havelock Chili Festival
- Field trip to Raleigh, NC to see the Carolina Ballet perform The Nutcracker Ballet
- Showstopper's Dance Convention in Myrtle Beach, SC
- Annual end of year field trip to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA
