A dancer since the age of seven, Wendy Stephenson began her dance training in Lancaster, PA under the instruction of Eloise Fine, a former Radio City Rockette. Wendy and her family relocated to Havelock, NC in 1984 where she became a dance teacher apprentice in her sophomore, junior and senior year of high school.

After graduating from Havelock High School, Wendy did an internship at Bo Wagner's Performing Arts Center at Oglethorpe University. She then went on to open her first dance studio in Havelock in 1989 and her second studio in Morehead City in 1991.

In 1992 she became certified by Dance Masters of America in the dance arts of Ballet, Tap and Jazz.

In 2000, she combined her two dance studios into one large school in Morehead City known as Crystal Coast School of the Arts. The goal of CCSA is to provide a place where students can pursue their studies in the Arts of Music, Dance and Visual Arts all in one convenient location under the instruction of dedicated professionals.

She has been married to her husband, Steve, for 14 years. Together they have a son, Hunter, who is in Middle School. The family resides in Morehead City.

Wendy has dedicated her life to teaching children the joy of dance.
